At the meeting Matthew Griffis, Digital Literacy and Local History Technician from Tillsonburg Library will be speaking on Andrew Carnegie.

The last day to see our current exhibition ““Warmth and Beauty: Favourite Quilts from the Collection” is Sunday, April 28th

Meeting Place: Cemetery Office
Come visit the Tillsonburg Cemetery and take a guided walking tour of the graves of Tillsonburg’s first Mayor and Councilors.

“Wade into Tea” Tea Party with the Curator
Wednesday, October 5th, 2022
Time: 2pm to 3pm
Cost: $20 plus taxes
Enjoy tea and pie while learning about the history of the Red Rose Tea Company’s Wade tea figurines promotional campaign. Take a Wade Figurine home as a gift.

Tillsonburg 150 Event: Luncheon with John Armstrong: Past Mayor of Tillsonburg
Friday, October 21st, 2022
12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Cost: $25.00 plus tax
A delicious luncheon followed by an interesting talk by former Mayor John Armstrong, as he discusses his time as the Mayor of Tillsonburg with emphasis on the downtown Tillsonburg Redevelopment Project.

Introducing Virtual Lunch and Learn 2021: March Edition!

On March 31st, 2021, Joan Weston will be presenting Virtually “All Aboard! The Continuing Story of Tillsonburg’s Railroad History” from Annandale National Historic Site.

Cost:  $20.00 per ticket. (With Taxes $22.60)
Includes: Voucher for Lunch from Enchanted Eats Café and a Party Favour
Lunch Option A: Chicken Caesar Wrap
Lunch Option B: Roast Beef Delight with Cream Cheese Horseradish
Both options come with an Orange Delight Salad and Dessert

Set-up a time with Kathleen to come and pick-up your lunch voucher and party favour at Annandale National Historic Site

Pick Up Times are by appointment on:

  • Thursday, March 25th – 10am-4pm
  • Friday, March 26th – 10am- 4pm
  • Monday, March 29th – 10am- 4pm
  • Tuesday March 30th– 10am- 4pm

An Ornamental Christmas!

1950’s Etched Christmas Balls

This year, in celebration of Christmas, the Pratt Gallery created a virtual school program “An Ornamental Christmas” highlighting the history of Christmas ornaments.
