Unless noted otherwise, all OxHS meetings are at Chartwell Oxford Gardens at 423 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock. Meetings are free and open to the public.

The BURGESS HOMESTEAD RUINS: Where History & Mystery Converge!

Thank you to everyone who shared their love of history and their interests in historical valentines by coming out to the February meeting of the Oxford Historical Society.  Our plans for a presentation on railway history at our March meeting have, unfortunately changed.  The train has been delayed; while it sits idle on a railway siding somewhere between Blandford and Zorra, the Oxford Historical Society continues on!  We are excited to announce that Julie Hawkins will be speaking about her family's Burgess Homestead: Where History and Mystery Converge!  We look forward to seeing you!
