Dr. Oleska Drachewych - REPLAYING THE SECOND WORLD WAR

OxHS is pleased to be working with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and Gromada Oxford in hosting the launch of a new book on the Russo-Ukrainian War by local historian Dr. Oleksa Drachewych.  Dr. Drachewych is a life-long resident of Oxford County and an assistant professor of history at Western University and a lecturer at King's University College.  The book launch will take place at the Salvation Army Church in Woodstock at 769 Julianna Drive on Saturday April 18, 2026 between 1:00 and 4:00 PM.  The presentation will be at 1:30 PM along with cultural displays, music and dancing.  Admission is free. Donations welcome!
